Eeek! Valentine's Day snuck up on me! Thank goodness you wonderful parents are on top of things!

To answer your questions....

Yes, we will do heart themed activities for a fun, yet educational day.
Yes, we will be exchanging Valentines. There are 21 students in our classroom.
Yes, we will make a special snack.

No, we do not need any more donations. Thank you for your generosity!

A list of names can be found in the column on the right of this blog, and a copy will be sent home with your student on Monday. It is easiest if your child just signs the valentines, rather than make out a specific card for each individual student, but writing the names of all the classmates is great fine motor and spelling practice, so have at it if you wish!
Hi Families!

Last week, we had so much fun celebrating our 100th day of school! We appreciate all the donations you have made! Because of your support we were able to:

-make 100 Froot Loops into a necklace
-exercise 100 times
-make a trail mix for snack with 100 goodies
-build a structure with 100 paper cups

Monday is the 101st Day of school! We will be celebrating with a Dalmatian theme. We will write about being a puppy, compare and contrast the book version and the movie version of 101 Dalmatians, take a walk that is 101 steps long, see how much 101 drops of water fills up our dog bowls, and make puppy chow for snack!

It is going to be busy, but SO MUCH FUN!

Pictures will be posted soon!
