Crazy November

Hello!

The month of November is a little crazy with all the days off and half days we have! Rather than do a plan for just one week, I'm going to share with you what we'll cover throughout the month. Some topics will take more than one week or will be divided by a weekend because of the holidays.


This month we will.....


-compare groups with numbers up to 10
-keep practicing short vowel "a" and the word families -an, -at, -ap, -am, -ag
-learn the color words gray and purple
-study the first Thanksgiving, pilgrims, and native americans
-cook delicious Thanksgiving food!
-work on using punctuation, finger spaces, and descriptive attributes in our writing
-learn correct capital letter formation
-practice counting syllables in words and the number of words in a sentence
-match digits to sets of objects
-identifying capital and lower case letter pairs

I think that's about it! You can see we have a very busy month planned!
